Anyways, it now has great features such as that twitter feed over there ---> wooo. and some fancy commenting system called intense debate, which would be ideal on a popular blog with lots of interesting content for people to comment on.
Also in articles there's some fancy goings on that turns pictures into a gallery, like if there is more than one picture there'll be next and previous buttons, and if you click the picture it loads the full size version. You'd think pretty standard stuff but none of my sites previous incarnations did anything like that. Though this has done something funny to some older posts.
Its also mobile phone friendly, with an iphone and other phone versions.
On the back end there's all sorts of improvements that no one but web developers would care about, you know, something to do with SEO and the content coming before the menus or some such that doesn't happen on most joomla sites.
You may be thinking this is all pointless, but it's not really. Even if no one ever comes here, its all research. What with me building websites for a living.
