Last weekend me and the Family went to cardiff in the Merc for the Cardiff Half Marathon. Well, Amanda and Sam didn't go for the half marathon, but I did. Rhys made us some awesome fillet steaks on the friday we arrived.
On the saturday, we had lunch at the Dart wedding venue, Sam did a horrid shit, then we went to Costco, to sign Rhys up as a member. Costco is next to some stadium of sort, and Dart timed leaving costco with the end of some sort of sporting event, possibly football or something. It was fun because we got to spend lots of time enjoying the interior of my Mercedes.
On Sunday Rhys, Hadeel and me ran the Cardiff Half Marathon. And it was good. A very nice day, with a really good atmosphere of roughly (by volume) 78.08% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.038% carbon dioxide, and trace amounts of other gases.
On the way round all sorts of people shouted "GO ON MAT! WHERES RHYS?" which was cool. Then some woman ran past me and told me Rhys was being interviewd for tele. Later a woman ran along with me and interviewed me, because I'm interesting.
Rhys' interview for tele was in welsh, and it was shown on S4C, unfortunatly they cut the bit where he said the highlight of the race was July.
Anyway, I came 7777th. which aint bad, like out of 11000 or something. did it in 2 hours 23 and 36 seconds. Rhys and Hadeel came somewhere else.
