hello there.
So I had a stag do last saturday. It was very nice. This is all because I'm getting married and stuff.
It all started with a trip to Laser Mayhem, which was very good I must say, there was about 16 or so of us, and we were split into two teams, our team, and the rubbish team.
Last weekend me and the Family went to cardiff in the Merc for the Cardiff Half Marathon. Well, Amanda and Sam didn't go for the half marathon, but I did. Rhys made us some awesome fillet steaks on the friday we arrived.
On the saturday, we had lunch at the Dart wedding venue, Sam did a horrid shit, then we went to Costco, to sign Rhys up as a member. Costco is next to some stadium of sort, and Dart timed leaving costco with the end of some sort of sporting event, possibly football or something. It was fun because we got to spend lots of time enjoying the interior of my Mercedes.
Once again I'm doing some half marathon for no apparent reason other than to cause myself pain. This time I'm travelling to Cardiff to do it with Rhys and Hadeel. On the 18th of October.
My training appears to be going alright, I been using some app on my Android phone called "My Tracks" by google, that records my route then uploads it onto google maps and google docs. I ran 9.45 miles this morning, and I feel fine amazingly...
Once again I've updated my webpage, now its even better than ever!!! Well technically it's better than ever, the content is still rubbish. All this technology is kind of wasted on my blog. It all looks rather plain at the moment (at time of writing and reading), but that's because its like a blank canvas. I might sex it up some day.
About a month ago I got an HTC Hero on Orange. It is awesome, though it could be a bit laggy at times, I got round this by restarting the phone each morning, which ain't ideal.
Then about 2 weeks or so ago a leaked ROM was released that fixed the speed issues with the phone, and added a couple of other features. To install it would mean rooting my phone, so I decided to wait for the official release from HTC.
Which was yesterday. I went to download it, and upon putting my serial number in it told me it wasn't available for my device. Turns out I'd have to wait until orange add their own shit to the ROM and they release it. So I thought fuck it, rooted my phone and installed the leaked ROM. Instructions here:
